Marc has written 289 songs including 4 full-length musicals. He has also appeared in 2 films, 'Jump' and 'Hollow Feet' as well as many stage shows including 'Cabaret', 'Blood Brothers', 'Equus' and 'The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe' (for which he also wrote 2 songs and all incidental music).
Marc has made most of his music as a member of The Salvation Army, of which church he is a lifelong member. He joined Woking band 'Blood & Fire' in 1982 as guitarist and together they made their first 2 albums 'The Things That People Say' and 'Who Is It?' He left B&F after a gig at The Dorking Halls supporting Christian Artist Paul Field in 1986 to start his own recording studio - BAF Recording.
Marc rejoined forces with B&F keyboardist (and long-time friend/accomplice) Alvin Allison in 1989 with a new band 'Cross Purposes' only for dates to be cancelled after Marc broke a leg...they only recorded one song and Marc had a cold on 'studio day' so...not altogether a happy story!
A few years later Marc replaced Alvin's brother Karl (former B&F frontman) in Christian Progressive Rock Band 'The Big Picture'.
Marc's only solo CD release to date is 'My Christmas Wish', a collection of songs with a Christmas theme. Several songs from this CD have received airplay both in the UK and the USA (most notably the fun songs 'Christmas Wrap' and 'I Love Christmas' which have been spun by Dr Demento!)
A Biblical song-cycle, 'Gethsemane', originally written in the 1990s was recently revised and, following a successful performance in Southampton, is set for a UK Tour next Spring...
New albums in the pipeline right now...
