One of the greatest thing about being involved with the Army, and expanding the music ministry beyond it's walls has been meeting so many great musicians from so many different backgrounds.
Jonathan Harris is an incredible undiscovered talent in Nashville, whose abilities go beyond his age. This past April we went into the studio and began laying down tracks for my newest song, "Yours".
It was a great time, and we were able to invite in a couple new musician freinds who I've met since being in Nashville.
Aaron Johnson joined us on bass, and has become my go-to man for bass work on upcoming projects.
Percussion was provided by the incomparable Michael Lehman (with less than 24 hours notice). Michael is a well-rounded musician who brings a gentle spirit and love of Christ with him wherever he goes. He plays around town with a couple different acts, as well as serves as Associate Pastor at Eastwood Christian Church in East Nashville.
And, finally, we were very honored to have grammy award winning fiddler Stuart Duncan join us in the studio to lend his talents. Stuart had a couple days free-time from touring with Elvis Costello, and gracioiusly agreed to donate some of that precious time to us.
This song has been a labor of love, and we hope you enjoy it as much as we enjoyed recording it for you.
